1. Always Verify UPI Payments Yourself

This is the single most important safety habit on any P2P platform. Before you release tokens to a buyer:

  • Open your own UPI or bank app – never rely on a screenshot the buyer sends you
  • Check the exact amount – it must match the order total, including decimals
  • Confirm the sender's name and UPI ID match the buyer's profile in the app
  • Look for "Success" status – not "Pending", not "Processing"
  • Only then tap Confirm Payment inside WynnPay
Why this matters: Payment screenshots can be edited in seconds using free apps. Your bank statement cannot be faked. This one check prevents the majority of P2P fraud.

2. Beware of Fake WynnPay Websites

Scammers create clone websites that look identical to the real WynnPay site. These fake sites may distribute malware-infected apps or steal your login credentials.

  • The only download source we link is wynnpay.co.in
  • Check the URL carefully before downloading anything
  • Never install an app from a link shared in a random Telegram group, WhatsApp message, or search ad
  • After installation, verify the app name and icon say "WynnPay"

3. There Is No WynnPay Customer Care Number

WynnPay has no public phone number – by design. Support is available only through the in-app live chat. Any phone number you find online claiming to be "WynnPay customer care" or "WynnPay helpline" is a scam.

  • Never call any number claiming to be WynnPay support
  • Never share your OTP, password, or UPI PIN with anyone who calls you
  • Never send money to "unlock", "activate", or "verify" your account
  • Report fake numbers to us at [email protected]

4. Fake Telegram Groups & Admins

Scammers create Telegram groups with names like "WynnPay Official", "WynnPay Support", or "WynnPay VIP" and pose as admins. They then ask members to deposit money, share OTPs, or click malicious links.

  • The only official Telegram channel is linked on wynnpay.co.in
  • Real admins will never ask for your OTP, password, or money
  • If a group asks you to "deposit to start trading", leave immediately
  • Report fake groups through the Contact page

5. Advance-Fee Fraud – Never Pay to "Unlock" Anything

A common scam involves someone telling you to pay a fee to unlock your withdrawal, activate your account, or upgrade to a "premium" level. This is always fraud.

  • WynnPay registration is free – nobody should charge you for it
  • Withdrawals do not require an "unlocking fee"
  • There is no "premium" or "VIP" account that requires a deposit
  • Anyone asking you to send money before you can receive money is a scammer
Rule of thumb: If someone asks you to pay money in order to receive money, it is a scam. Always.

6. Protect Your Password & OTP

  • Create a strong, unique password – mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols
  • Never reuse your WynnPay password on other apps or websites
  • Change your password every few months
  • Never share your OTP with anyone – not even someone claiming to be WynnPay support
  • Never share your UPI PIN under any circumstances
  • If you suspect your account is compromised, change your password immediately and contact in-app support

7. Safe Trading Habits

  • Start small: Begin with the smallest trade possible until you understand the flow
  • Trade only what you can lose: Token prices can drop – never trade money you need for essentials
  • Use the appeal system: If a trade goes wrong, raise a dispute inside the app immediately
  • Keep records: Take screenshots of trade details and payment confirmations for your records
  • Stay updated: Follow the official Telegram channel and this website for new scam alerts
  • Trust your instincts: If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is

8. Quick Safety Checklist

  • ✅ UPI payments verified in my own bank app before confirming

Frequently Asked Questions – User Safety
